Night Skyline Views from Brooklyn Bridge Park

Manhattan Bridge at night in Brooklyn Bridge Park in DUMBO

If you know Brooklyn, you know this is one of the best things to do in Brooklyn at night. Whether it’s date night or you’re playing tour guide, Brooklyn Bridge Park offers one of the best views in all of the city, especially at night.

Starting with one of the first must-see views, find yourself under the Brooklyn Bridge across from the TimeOut Market and in front of Jane’s Carousel. From here, you get a picturesque view of the Brooklyn Bridge as well as the entire Manhattan skyline—Jane’s Carousel lit up also adds a sweet romantic touch, if that’s what you’re looking for.

The next option is to grab a scoop or two from Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory and look out onto the water from the DUMBO/Fulton Ferry pier. Taking this vantage point one step further would be catching a water taxi to Lower Manhattan, which can run as late as 9:18 PM.

And last but not least, our favorite viewpoint is from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. After a lovely stroll through Downtown Brooklyn and Montague Street, you will find the main entrance to the park. Stretching over 1,800 feet atop the BQE, this is always one of the things to do in Brooklyn at night that will never disappoint.

Grab a spot on one of the many benches with your to-go dinner, dessert, or favorite person and you’ll wish that time could stand still.

This is just a good time, in general, to also walk the length of Brooklyn Bridge Park along the waterfront. There are so many great vantage points of the night skyline and plenty of quiet places to sit too.
