Because of the trendy boutique hotels and luxury hotels in this neighborhood, there are less affordable options for where to stay in Brooklyn here, that being said, there are a few mid range options that aren’t too bad, so if you’re on a budget be sure to skip the trendy/famous hotels an opt for some of our mid-range options or an Airbnb rental.

Because this is another great waterfront area of Brooklyn to stay in, you can bet you’ll have amazing views of the city as well as easy access points into Manhattan and some of the most iconic tourist attractions and things to see in the city.

One of the best under-the-radar areas for where to stay in Brooklyn for visitors is the charming neighborhood full of brownstones in Park Slope. This is considered one of the most desirable neighborhoods to live in the city and while it seems like it’s far away from NYC attractions in Manhattan, that’s deceiving because Park Slope had plenty of subway stops and subway lines that make it really quick and easy to get where you need to go.

Better yet, Park Slope has a bustling dining and shopping scene on both 5th Avenue and 7th Avenue and is not a far walk or journey to Downtown Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center. Better yet, you can enjoy all there is to do in and near Prospect Park, designed by the same architects as Central Park, as Park Slope takes up one of the borders of the perimeter of the park.

This is a great place to stay in Brooklyn if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood, looking to stay more residential, and want to experience what living in one of the most coveted neighborhoods in the city.

And as we mentioned before, the subway lines that run through here couldn’t make it any easier to get around the city. Plus, this is a great area to stay in if you want to explore some of Brooklyn’s popular neighborhoods for dining, nightlife, and arts in Gowanus and one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city like Carroll Gardens.

There aren’t as many hotels in Park Slope as it’s residential, but there are some great Airbnb options to make you feel like you’re a local in some of the most breathtaking brownstones in the city.
